Reservation Coordinator
Position Description
Are you the person friends and family turn to when they need help figuring out where to go, what to book, or how to put a vacation together?
The Gypsy Travel & Cruise is expanding our team and looking for motivated, organized people who enjoy working with others and want the flexibility of working from home.
No previous industry experience is required. Training and ongoing support are provided.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work with clients who are planning vacations, cruises, resorts, weekend getaways, and other travel experiences.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Learning about a client's vacation preferences, needs, and budget
- Researching destinations, resorts, cruises, tours, and activities
- Helping clients compare vacation options
- Coordinating reservations and trip details
- Communicating with clients by phone, email, text, and online
- Keeping up with supplier promotions and destination information
- Providing support before, during, and after a client's trip
- Building relationships with new and returning clients
You'll also receive training on the systems, suppliers, and resources used to research and coordinate client vacations.

Experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, administration, education, healthcare, military-family life, event planning, or similar people-focused fields can be helpful, but previous industry experience is not required.

Compensation is earned through commissions on completed client bookings and varies based on individual sales and business activity. There is no guaranteed hourly or weekly wage.
There are also ongoing business-related costs associated with maintaining the resources used to operate the business, including licensing/credentials, insurance, technology, website access, training, and support.
